UIDNS had organized a Food competition

The department of Diet & Nutritional Sciences (UIDNS) organized a Food competition. The key focus of this health related activity was to provide students an opportunity to enhance & practically apply their theoretical nutrition knowledge.     
 Students of Diet & Nutritional Sciences and Food Sciences participated in this activity. The students prepared healthy snacks and beverages keeping in mind their nutritive values. The judge’s panel evaluated the food according to their nutritive value, taste & presentation. In the end, the certificates were awarded to the position holders (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) by Prof. Dr. Syed Amir Gilani, Dean- FAHS.
The whole activity not only provided an opportunity to the students to enhance their nutritional knowledge by actually applying it practically, but was also a great excitement for the students.
